St.stephen’s, fairview celebrates 60 years
Sixty years ago, Episcopalians came together to form a new congregation in Fairview, which took the name St. Stephen’s. Over the years, this congregation grew and became a major part of the lives of many people—some still with us, some departed, and some who have since moved away.

On September 21, we came together to remember and celebrate this great history and to rededicate ourselves to St. Stephen’s continuing mission. Our 60th Anniversary arrived at a happy and healthy time for the parish. The congregation has been growing both larger and younger.
Through many ups and downs, we have learned resilience and cultivated a tradition of strong lay leadership. These gifts will serve us well in a future that promises challenges for all churches and indeed for our nation and world. We trust that the God of grace and love, known to us in Jesus Christ, will continue to guide and strengthen us along the way.
For now, we give thanks to the Lord our God for St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Fairview, and all it has meant—and continues to mean—to us.
