It is often said in church circles that “young people are the future of the church.” In the Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania, we believe that young people are the church now. We seek to provide quality programming that is accessible and valuable to youth from each of our congregations.
Diocesan Summer Camp
The Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania is proud of a summer camp tradition spanning close to 50 years. Many of our campers have camped with us for generations. We have been the guests of Camp Nazareth, A Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Camp in Mercer, PA with their space being as much a part of the tradition as camp itself.
Every summer we welcome kids from the completion of 2nd Grade through graduating seniors to come spend a week in community, praying, playing, singing and learning. For campers and counselors alike, it truly is the best week of summer!
Summer Camp 2026
Campers are invited to join us June 14-20, 2026 at Camp Nazareth.

We encourage anyone interested in becoming a counselor to contact Melinda Hall. Young Adults, former campers, college students, are all welcome to learn more. Counselors are required to complete background checks and mandatory Safe Church trainings.
