On Sunday afternoon, October 19th, Bishop Benfield was present in Oil City for the installation of Kristen Papson as the new bishop of the Northwestern Pennsylvania synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. The liturgy was presided over by ELCA Presiding Bishop Yehiel Curry.
