BISHOP BENFIELD IN NWPA

Bishop Benfield visited Emmanuel Church in Corry on Sunday, March 15th. The church has one of few rood screens in the diocese, a rood screen being a a wooden frame, topped by a cross, between the pews where the congregation sits and the altar area. After the Eucharist, the congregation gathered for a brunch with a large variety of homemade casseroles and desserts. 

On Sunday, March 22nd, Bishop Benfield visited the Memorial Church of Our Father in Foxburg. There was a potluck lunch following the liturgy, which included a birthday cake for Kathy Blauser, an active member of the congregation.
