The Rev. Joann Piatko announces her retirement.
After much discernment, prayer and reflection, The Rev. Joann Piatko has decided to retire later this year. She is currently serving as vicar of St. Jospeh’s Episcopal Church in Port Allegany PA.
Pastor Joann had this to say, “I have been blessed over my lifetime to have had two fulfilling vocations. My first working within the health care system and my second working in ministry. My entire ministry from the day of my ordination in 2010 has included being the Vicar at St Joseph’s Church. It was a privilege and a blessing that I was able to offer my best to everyone I met on my journey.”
She remains committed to praying for the members of St Josephs’ Church and for the Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania. It is her intention to remain supportive of the work of the diocese in all ways possible.
Her last Sunday as Vicar of St Joseph’s will be October 11, 2026.
