INTERVIEWS BEGIN

Dear Friends in Christ,
Your search committee has had a very active several weeks. The process of receiving applications closed on February 2. At that point we learned we had more applicants than we had initially anticipated, which is a very good thing. Our consultant passed us all the applications at once, to avoid bias, and we began reading them and using a rubric to help us stay focused on our profile’s priorities and how they were represented in each application.

As you read this, our process of first round interviews has begun. We ask your continued prayers for the candidates who are being interviewed, their families, and the search committee.

Additionally, we invite you to join the diocesan-wide Lenten study. It is not too late! The Search Committee will be leading an online session each week of the study, for five Thursdays starting tomorrow, February 19, from 7pm-8pm. Thank you so much for your prayers for this process. We are excited to see where the Holy
Spirit is guiding us.
