Neighborhood Picnic at St. John’s Kane

St. John’s in Kane recently co-hosted its first neighborhood picnic, bringing together friends, neighbors, church members, and families for an afternoon of food and fellowship! On Saturday, August 15, everyone gathered in the church parking lot for a barbecue feast prepared by neighbor Jerry on his impressive smoker grill.

The picnic offered a wonderful opportunity to connect with both longtime Chase Street residents and those who have recently joined the neighborhood. With everyone contributing their favorite picnic dishes, there was plenty of delicious food to share. By the end of the day, the consensus was clear: “Let’s do this again next year!”
