Little Caesars Love Kitchen Visits Ascension
On Saturday, August 29, Church of the Ascension in Bradford was thrilled to welcome the Little Caesars Love Kitchen to the community. The Love Kitchen is a program supported by Little Caesars franchisees that provides meals to people experiencing hunger and homelessness, as well as communities affected by disasters across the country.
The Love Kitchen reached out to Ascension in recognition of the generational poverty and food insecurity affecting the Bradford community.
Together, Ascension volunteers and Little Caesars staff served free pizza to more than 130 neighbors, sharing not only a meal but also fellowship, conversation, and even a few temporary tattoos!
It was a wonderful afternoon of community, connection, and neighbors coming together to care for one another!
