Updates and Information

The Bishop Search Committee invites all people of this diocese to attend one of four listening sessions. These listening sessions are a key way the search committee will develop the materials for the bishop search. The information provided at these sessions will guide the committee’s discernment as to what charisms we seek in our next bishop and what priorities we hope our next bishop will set for our diocese.

There are four listening session opportunities:

October 11, 10am-12pm: Resurrection Church, Hermitage
October 16, 7pm-9pm: via Zoom
October 18, 10am-12pm: Church of Our Saviour, DuBois
October 18, 10am-12pm: Cathedral of St. Paul, Erie

We encourage you to register for the session you plan to attend using this form no later than Monday, October 6. Please email the committee at bishopsearch@dionwpa.org if you have any other questions.

Your voice matters! The committee is excited to hear from you and learn how the Spirit is moving among this diocese as we seek to discover who God is calling to serve as our next bishop.
